Most of the people have a feeling that “I can’t do coding/scripting”. Most of the people also have a misconception that “In Testing there is no necessity of coding or scripting”. Kindly remove this misconception from your mind now if you had this misconception. So the next question is “How can I learn scripting”. The answer is by doing fun scripting. I started to write scripts when I was doing my engineering in Reva Institute of Technology & Management, Yelahanka, Bangalore. I never used to study theory. I used to mug up the programs and attend the lab test. But I used to find writing VB scripts and Java scripts. I used to write programs which were meant for fun. Example: A fake virus script, NumLock on and off until the script is ended and a lot of scripts. So “Learn with fun and you can learn it fast when it comes to scripting”.
