Fresher Tester: Hey, do you know about QTP 9.2?
Experienced Tester: It’s our god, without it we can’t earn our bread.
This is the impact of these testing tools which are used for automation testing. The first time I used QTP I thought that it’s a great tool but I saw that even it had bugs. When most of the organizations are using these automated tools which have bugs then how are they going to provide a quality product to the customer? By using these automation tools do they mean that they are trying to provide the quality but are not working for the best quality? “By saying this I’m not opposing the automation tools”.
The organizations follow process driven testing but my interpretation is that context driven testing is the best. When the product is released in the market and if the customer finds any bug in the product then software testers can’t answer the customer as they can say that they have followed all the test cases and used the tool which was given by the organization/company. But using a tool and following this process driven testing work is really challenging? “I don’t think so, if anyone thinks its challenging then I suggest them to go and look in the dictionary for the meaning of challenge”.
